Learning and Teaching

The duties and responsibilities of the Learning and Teaching Subcommittee are as follows:
  • To follow the practices of university’s academic units related to learning-teaching and research activities,
  • To participate in internal and external evaluation studies in the field of learning and teaching under the direction of the Quality Committee,
  • To make relevant measurements and evaluations by using the results of the survey studies for the educational objectives and achievements of the programs,
  • To carry out student-centered learning, teaching and evaluation studies,
  • To carry out studies that will ensure that the student receives more effective learning and teaching services in the period from registration to graduation,
  • To carry out studies on the qualitative and quantitative adequacy of the teaching staff regarding the effective implementation of the university's teaching and learning process and the achievement of the goals of teaching and learning,
  • To investigate the adequacy and suitability of the learning environment (Classroom, computer laboratory, library, meeting room, workshop, clinic, laboratory, application areas, exhibition areas, individual study area, etc.) that will increase the educational effectiveness of the university,
  • To make plans for the review, evaluation and update of the programs every year by ensuring the participation of internal and external stakeholders in the process,
  • To ensure the determination of the measurable goals of academic units related to education and training and performance indicators related to these goals and the regular revision of them.
  • To carry out improvement studies on the internal and external evaluation reports related to learning and teaching and the areas that need improvement,
  • To follow the defined processes related to the monitoring and updating of programs,
  • To determine the learning-teaching and internationalization policy in accordance with the strategic plan and quality policy of the university and to conduct studies on the ways of achieving the goals in this field, to monitor the performance indicators and submit them to the Quality Commission for evaluation.
