Giresun University holds an understanding of international integration in the process of bringing together its quality assurance, learning and teaching, research and development, service to society and governance system policies, the strategies and goals it has defined in line with these policies, and the internationalization-based activities set out in its strategic plan.

In this context the University adopts as its internationalization policy the education of individuals with a high capacity to compete at international level, and the provision of services as an international and intercultural institution — supported by its international connections and partnerships and by student and staff mobility — together with the sustainability of these services.
