In line with the strategies it has defined in accordance with its mission and vision and the goals associated with those strategies, and consistent with the quality assurance system and the learning and teaching policy it has developed, Giresun University adopts as its distance education policy an approach that maintains distance learning and teaching activities through synchronous and asynchronous course tools and applications; that aims to improve continuously the quality and technical infrastructure of distance education by means of the qualified information resources and support services offered to students and teaching staff throughout their education; and that systematically monitors evaluations concerning the distance education system with the participation of all relevant stakeholders.
