Research and Development Goals
- To contribute to the conduct of scientific research that enables the differentiation of our academic units at the local, national, and international levels by preserving their originality, in a way that supports the research and development activities determined in accordance with the strategic plan,
- To ensure their effective and efficient use by enriching the financial resources, information and communication tools, and physical infrastructure opportunities related to research and development,
- To increase research and development activities with high impact on national and international platforms in order to transform original and creative ideas into publications, products, utility models, or patents by giving priority to the supervision of professional ethical principles at all stages of the conduct of research activities,
- To increase the number and efficiency of projects jointly produced with national/international higher education institutions aimed at increasing research and development effectiveness,
- To educate students who have assimilated scientific philosophy; specialized in accessing, filtering and advancing information for the benefit of society; and who have leadership qualities, international culture and identity, and to increase the number of teaching staff with these qualifications,
- To support the transformation of the results related to research and development activities into economic value and social benefit,
- To increase cooperation between the university and the industry through the technology transfer office and to contribute to the development of the industry,
- To diversify the research areas in line with the opinions of internal and external stakeholders,
- To continuously improve research processes by taking advantage of national and international collaborations with the participation of stakeholders,
- To support the dissemination, use and commercialization of the results obtained from research and development activities,
- To bring technical personnel to our university who will support experts and researchers in their field,
- To hold external stakeholder coordination meetings regularly,
- To increase the ranking of the university in national and international rankings,
- To increase the number of publications produced from research projects,
- To dynamize the Technology Transfer Office and the Technopark,
- To increase the cooperation of application and research centers with the private sector,
- To increase the number of master's and doctoral programs related to the research goals of our university and to match the contents of the programs in line with the goals.
