On January 05, 2022, the Higher Education Quality Board held a Introductory Meeting of the New Version of the Higher Education Quality Committee Rated Evaluation Key (v3). In the opening speech of the meeting, YÖKAK President Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas gave his presentation titled "Change, Quality and Accreditation in Higher Education". In the second speech, YÖKAK Vice President Prof. Dr. Sibel Aksu Yildirim gave his presentation titled "Quality Assurance Processes in Higher Education Institutions and YÖKAK Rated Evaluation Key (v3)".

Coordinatorship Planning Meeting was held
The 2022/1 planning meeting of the Quality Coordinatorship was held on February 9, 2022 at 10:00 am with the participation of the members of the Coordinatorship. During the meeting, evaluations were made about the preparation studies of the 2021 Internal Evaluation Report conducted by the Coordinatorship and the 2021 Unit Self-Assessment Report studies carried out by the units. An online meeting on " Basic Components of Corporate Accreditation Program and Regulatory Application" was held on February 14, 2022 with higher education institutions invited by the Higher Education Quality Board to the 2022 Corporate Accreditation Program. In the meeting; Basic Components of the 2022 Corporate Accreditation Program and Regulatory Implementation meetings were held. At the events, details were shared about the Corporate Accreditation Program, which was made permanent in our higher education system by the change of regulations.

We participated in YOKAK Quality Ambassador Training Program
YOKAK Quality Ambassador Training Program was held online on February 26-27, 2022 within the scope of ensuring student participation in quality assurance processes in higher education and promoting quality culture by YOKAK Student Committee. Our student Ezgi Ayar, head of the Quality Community of our University, participated in the training, which was designed as 9 hours with approximately 80 participating students, including sub-study groups in the main hall and virtual classrooms.

During the meeting, evaluations were made about the 2021 "Internal Evaluation Report" conducted by the Accreditation, Academic Evaluation and Quality Coordinatorship and the 2021 "Corporate Monitoring Report" published by the Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC). "2022 Evaluator Beginner Training Program" was held by the Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) on April 18-19, 2022. As a result of the application and evaluation process carried out in accordance with the 4th article of the "Giresun University Quality Assurance Directive", Melis KIRIMLIOĞLU, a business administration graduate student of the Institute of Social Sciences of our University, was elected as a student representative by the decision of the Senate dated December 29, 2022.
