The Youth's Career Walk Conference was Held
In cooperation with the Giresun University Quality Committee and the Faculty of Education, a conference called "Youth’s Career Walk" was held on Friday, January 6, 2023, between 10:00 and 12:00. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bünyamin Çetinkaya, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Education, spoke at the event, which was held at our university's Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Conference Hall.

The Meeting of the Quality Committee of our University was Held
The meeting of the Quality Committee of our university was held online on March 29, 2023, at 13.00. At the meeting held under the chairmanship of the Vice Rector of Our University, Prof. Dr. Güven Özdem, the draft "Giresun University Institutional Self-Evaluation Report for the Year 2022" was discussed, and it was decided to submit the final version of the report to the senate.

Our Students Participated in THEQC's Quality Ambassador Training Program
The Quality Ambassador Training Program (KEP'23) was organized online by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Board (THEQC) Student Committee in order to increase student participation in quality assurance processes in higher education and to spread the quality culture. The program is open to the applications of higher education students from various institutions and was held on four different dates (May 9–10, May 15–16, May 17–18, and May 22–23) due to high demand.

External Stakeholder Evaluation Workshop Held
Within the scope of Giresun University 2025-2029 Strategic Planning Processes, an External Stakeholder Evaluation Workshop was held on Monday, November 27, 2023, at the Rectorate Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Conference Hall to obtain the information and opinions of our external stakeholders about our university and to identify our strengths and weaknesses. Representatives from public institutions, non-governmental organizations, suppliers, and student communities attended the workshop.

Quality Community Participated in Student Societies Promotion Day
Student societies operating at our university came together at the Community Promotion Day event. Quality Community Board members exhibited their activities by opening a stand on the promotion day. The stand, located on the ground floor of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences between 09:00 and 16:00 on December 5, 2023, provided information to university students about the activities and quality processes of the Quality Community.

A Meeting on Increasing the International Visibility of our University was held
In line with its goal of increasing its effectiveness in the international arena, our university organized an online meeting in cooperation with Istanbul Technical University. At the meeting held on December 15, 2023, Istanbul Technical University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Lütfiye Durak Ata shared the application processes for national and international rating systems in detail.

Our University Graduate Meeting Was Held
Our university held an online meeting with our alumni on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, within the scope of the 2025–2029 Strategic Planning Process. The aim of this meeting is to contribute to the process of evaluating the external stakeholder perspective of our graduates in the planning of the next five years and to shape the future strategies of our university by receiving their opinions and suggestions.
