Quality Assurance System Goals
  • To determine the task definitions of the sub-working groups of the university quality committees,
  • To announce the quality policy and sub-policies of our university in appropriate areas that everyone can see,
  • To organize a news bulletin about quality studies every year, to publish it on the web page, and to send it to the stakeholders,
  • To organize certified quality management system trainings,
  • To ensure that the "Accreditation Process Unit/Department Manager" is appointed by the unit manager in all units, including programs that graduate in less than 3 years,
  • To organize meetings by the Academic Evaluation, Accreditation, and Quality Coordinatorship in order to introduce the accreditation process in the units and to prepare the units' own action plans and work schedules,
  • To ensure that an "Accreditation Process Action Plan" is prepared by all units,
  • To honor the units/programs of our university that have succeeded in being accredited with a document at the opening ceremony of the following academic year, and to announce it on the university web page,
  • To make a presentation to the members of the Strategy Development Board by preparing a report every year on the targets in the strategic plan of their units and the rate of realization of the targets by each unit manager,
  • To evaluate these reports by senior management, relevant units, and committees and to determine alternative policies for actions that do not take place with existing policies and to encourage implementation of them,
  • To develop and dynamize the "Survey Evaluation System" within GÜYBIS,
  • To carry out the surveys by means of the "Assessment, Evaluation, and Continuous Improvement Committee" in order to prepare, evaluate, and report the surveys in a way that will provide scientific measurement and to determine the necessary actions according to the results,
  • If necessary, making adjustments to existing policies and determining alternative policies in accordance with the reports consisting of survey results,
  • Organizing a face-to-face or online meeting for external stakeholders at least once a year,
  • To receive and report the opinions of internal and external stakeholders about the programs through surveys, interviews, etc.
  • To ensure that the programs/courses are updated according to the results of the report and evaluation,
  • To activate and update the Graduate Information System.
