The duties and responsibilities of the Research and Development Sub-Commission are as follows;
- To evaluate the research infrastructure of the university and to develop incentive mechanisms for the establishment of infrastructure that can carry out interdisciplinary studies,
- To evaluate the statistics of the scientific works (TÜBİTAK, BAP, EU projects, articles, patents, etc. ) resulting from the research and to examine the evaluation results of the university by the national and international rating agencies and to make suggestions to improve the research performance,
- To conduct studies on the competence, development, and sustainability of the university's research staff,
- To measure and evaluate research and development activities based on data and periodically and to publish the results,
- To cooperate with other sub-commissions related to the areas that have emerged related to research and development and need improvement in internal and external evaluation reports.
- To determine the research and development policy in accordance with the strategic plan and quality policy of the university and to carry out studies on the ways of achieving the goals in this field, monitor the performance indicators, and submit to the quality commission for evaluation.
