In order to strengthen the culture of quality assurance at an institutional level across our university, and to support the principles of transparency, accountability, traceability, and continuous improvement in administrative processes, the "Administrative Units Website Editing Guide" has been prepared and published.
The guide aims to have the websites of department directorates, coordination offices, directorates, and other administrative units structured in a way that is compatible with the criteria of the Higher Education Quality Council's (YÖKAK) Institutional Accreditation Programme (KAP). It addresses, within an integrated framework, the main menus, subheadings, service descriptions, process information, document structures, and currency principles recommended for administrative unit websites.
To make the guide more readily applicable and understandable, a sample administrative unit website structure was created, and the heading and content layout defined in the guide is explained through concrete examples. This sample structure serves as a reference for our administrative units and provides a guiding framework on how the information and documents expected within the scope of KAP can be presented in a web environment.
It is important, in terms of the institutional accreditation process, institutional visibility, and quality assurance efforts, that our administrative units review, update, and manage their own websites in a sustainable manner in line with this guide.
