Within the scope of the Unit Monitoring Teams initiative aimed at strengthening Giresun University’s quality assurance processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, the second and third monitoring visits were conducted on 5 January 2026 at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering.
The full-day visits began with meetings held with the faculty deans and administrations, followed by the review of quality assurance systems, evaluation of the 2024 Unit Self-Assessment Report (USR) and the 2025–2026 targets, on-site observation of physical facilities, and meetings with academic and administrative staff, students, and external stakeholders.
During the visits, the faculties’ strengths and areas for improvement were identified, and detailed feedback and recommendations were provided. The evaluations are expected to contribute significantly to the enhancement of the University’s internal quality assurance system and to serve as an important reference for future program accreditation processes.
