A meeting was held by the Strategy Development Board of our university on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the Rectorate meeting room in order to discuss the strategic plan evaluation report face-to-face.
The strategic plan evaluation report included in the meeting agenda includes 5 strategic goals, 19 goals in the 2020-2024 strategic plan of our university, which entered into force with the approval of the Rector on November 26, 2019, and annual evaluations of 85 performance indicators in terms of determining whether these goals have been achieved. In the process of preparing the mentioned evaluation report for the year 2022, realization values for the relevant period were collected from the units that are responsible for and cooperate on the targeted performance indicators through the Giresun University Management Information System (GUYBIS), and all these collected data were drafted by the Strategy Development Department based on targets and indicators. The relevant report, which has taken draft form, was finalized at the meeting held by the Giresun University Strategy Development Board.
Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Güven Özdem, the expenditure authorities of our university, Coordinator of the Accreditation, Academic Evaluation and Quality Coordinatorship Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şanal, Vice Coordinator Seyfi Göktekin and Dr. Hakan Sipahi attended the meeting which was held under the chairmanship of The Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Can.
The meeting where the the results of the one year implementation of our university’s 2020-2024 strategic plan were evaluated concluded with the exchange of ideas about the measures and improvement activities that our university can take in order to achieve the goals set forth in its strategic plan.
