The 2026-2027 academic year Academic Board Meeting of Giresun University Faculty of Education was held on Tuesday, 29 September 2026, with the participation of academic staff. The opening address was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şanal, Dean of the Faculty and Coordinator of Accreditation, Academic Evaluation and Quality; Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Güven Özdem also spoke at the meeting.

Our Coordinatorship was represented by Deputy Coordinator Assist. Prof. Dr. Hakan Sipahi and Coordinatorship members Assist. Prof. Dr. Enis Taşçı and Lect. Osman Serdal Karapınar.

Deputy Coordinator Assist. Prof. Dr. Hakan Sipahi gave a briefing on the quality assurance practices recently introduced at our University. The presentation covered the stage reached in preparations for the 2026 Institutional Accreditation Programme (KAP) conducted by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK), the Quality Data Management System (KVYS) that gathers quality documentation in a single centre, and the Giresun University Communication Centre (GİMER), through which stakeholder submissions are received via a single channel and concluded within the PDCA cycle.
