As part of the accreditation work of the Department of International Relations at Giresun University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, a preparatory meeting was held on the afternoon of Tuesday, 20 October 2026 in the Faculty's meeting room. The meeting addressed the preparations carried out ahead of the visit to be conducted by the STAR Accreditation Evaluation Team. The current state of the accreditation process was reviewed, and views were exchanged on the visit programme, the preparation of documents and evidence, and the activities to be carried out within the scope of the process.

The meeting concluded with the sharing of views and suggestions on conducting the evaluation process effectively and in a coordinated manner.
