The Evaluator In-Depth Training organised by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) was held in Elazığ on 13 October 2026, bringing together academic staff, administrative staff and students from various cities across Türkiye. The programme, designed to advance quality assurance processes in higher education and to strengthen the knowledge and competencies of evaluator candidates, was attended from our university by Prof. Dr. Özlem TUNÇ DEDE; Ayşegül OKSAL, Head of Division at the Department of Strategy Development; and Melek Naz POLAT, a fourth-year student in the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

Throughout the training, participants were briefed on quality assurance and evaluation processes in higher education, with the aim of developing the knowledge and competencies of evaluator candidates in these areas. Participation at the level of academic staff, administrative staff and students is significant for disseminating the quality culture, strengthening institutional evaluation capacity and supporting the active involvement of students in quality assurance processes.
