The 2022 Universities Without Barriers Awards organized by the Turkish Council of Higher Education (TCHE) have found their owners.
Within scope of “2022 Barrier-Free Universities Awards” given by the TCHE, our university received the “2022 Accessibility in Space Award” with the Library Building.
President of the TCHE Özvar who spoke at the ceremony said, “I congratulate all our universities that have applied for the Barrier-Free University Awards for their sensitivity and efforts on this issue. I wish to all the awards given will encourage many other good works and collaborations.”
The statement was also included on the document given by the TCHE: "Giresun University has been entitled to receive an orange flag due to the arrangements it has made regarding the accessibility in space."
