Our University’s 2025 Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (KİDR) is now available on kalite.giresun.edu.tr as an interactive web application that allows criterion-by-criterion reading and direct access to evidence files.

Prepared by the Accreditation, Academic Evaluation and Quality Coordinatorship, the 2025 Institutional Self-Evaluation Report evaluates our university’s practices in the areas of leadership, governance and quality; education and teaching; research and development; and societal contribution within the framework of the criteria of the Council of Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK). The 84-page report includes a maturity-level assessment for each of the 46 sub-criteria and a total of 399 evidence documents.

Developed to make the report easier to use on the web, the KİDR 2025 Interactive Explorer presents the report content in three sections:

• Report Explorer: the 46 criteria under the four evaluation areas can be read by selecting them from the criterion tree in the left menu; the maturity level of each criterion is shown with a badge, and evidence references within the text lead to the related evidence file with a single click.
• Evidence Library: 399 evidence documents can be filtered by evaluation area, criterion, maturity level and file type, and searched by document name.
• Results and Evaluation: our university’s strengths, areas open to improvement and 2026 priority targets are summarized on a single screen for each area.

The application offers Turkish-character-sensitive search in criterion texts and evidence names, full-screen viewing and a mobile-friendly design. The Explorer can be accessed from the Documents menu of the quality website, from the Quick Access section on the homepage, or via the link below.

At our university, which will be evaluated under the Institutional Accreditation Program (KAP) in 2026, the tool is expected to make it easier for unit quality commissions to access the report content and the evidence set, and to contribute to the spread of the self-evaluation culture across the institution.
