During the preparation of the curricula (course plans) for the 2026-2027 academic year, reviews by the Education Commission identified a need to strengthen uniformity of practice. Upon this, an online in-service training was held by the Accreditation, Academic Evaluation and Quality Coordinatorship on 23 June 2026. Unit managers, deputy managers, unit secretaries and heads of departments from the university’s academic and administrative units attended the training.
Within the scope of the program, participants were given detailed information about the points to be considered in preparing curricula, the criteria included in the “Curriculum Control List”, the areas open to improvement highlighted in the Education Commission’s evaluations, and frequently encountered deficiencies. Practices to be observed in line with the quality assurance approach during curriculum preparation were also addressed, and participants’ questions were answered.
The training aimed to establish a common approach in the preparation and evaluation of curricula, to increase compliance with quality standards and to strengthen uniformity of practice among units.
