The academic unit quality visits, which are conducted periodically every year in order to contribute to the internal and external quality assurance processes of our university, are also carried out this year. The first phase of this year's visits concluded on November 10, 2022, with visits to the Faculty of Medicine at 10:30 a.m. and the Faculty of Dentistry at 1:00 p.m.
During the visit, which was conducted by the Accreditation, Academic Evaluation, and Quality Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şanal, the assistants of the coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Serkan Abdusselam and Dr. Firdevs İclal Karataş Aydın, members of the coordinator, Instructor Hakan Sipahi and Instructor Osman Serdal Karapınar, the academic units were evaluated in terms of their strengths and opportunities for improvement through their Academic Unit Self-Assessment Reports (AUSAR).
During the visit, which included the members of the quality commission of the academic units and the managers of the academic units, participants were informed about the quality studies of our university and Bologna processes. The visits ended with a mutual exchange of ideas and answers to questions about the unit's quality assurance processes.
