The academic unit quality visits organized every year in order to extend the quality assurance processes of our university and obtain stakeholder opinions have started. The first visit of this year was made to the Faculty of Sports Sciences on November 7, 2022.
Within the scope of the visit, through the "Giresun University Academic Unit Self-Assessment Card", the Academic Unit Self-Assessment Reports (AUSAR) prepared by the relevant unit in recent years were evaluated, and their strengths and opportunities for improvement were determined.
During the visits conducted by Accreditation, Academic Evaluation and Quality Coordinatorship, the academic unit was informed that the accreditation processes have started. In addition, it was disclosed that the Bologna process has been restructured within the procedures of the academic unit, a guide has been prepared in this context, and the processes must be completed.
The visit, which was attended by the academic unit managers and academic unit quality committee members, ended with a mutual exchange of ideas and answers to questions about the unit's quality assurance processes.
From the Accreditation, Academic Evaluation, and Quality Coordinatorship, the coordinator, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şanal, the assistant of the coordinator, Dr. Firdevs İclal Karataş Aydın, members of the coordinator, Instructor Hakan Sipahi and Instructor Osman Serdal Karapınar, attended the visit.
